Reporting profiles and content

If a page, comment or image breaks the rules, let us know. Reports from the page are anonymous: the person you report never learns who sent it.

Report a profile#

1. Open the profile.
2. Click the flag button at the bottom right, next to the like and dislike buttons.
3. Pick what’s wrong:
   • Spam or a scam
   • Pretending to be someone else
   • Harassment or hate
   • Sexual or violent content
   • Something else
4. Optionally add Details, like links or anything that helps us check (up to 500 characters).
5. Click Send report.

You see Thanks, we’ll take a look when it’s sent.

Report a comment#

1. Open the comments on the profile.
2. Click Report under the comment.
3. Pick a reason, add details if you like, and click Send report.

Who can send reports#

• You need to be signed in with a verified email. If you aren’t, the dialog asks you to Log in or Verify email first.
• You can’t report your own page or your own comments.
• You can send up to 10 reports per hour. Reporting the same page or comment again while your first report is still open doesn’t send a second one.

Report images and other abuse#

There’s no report button on image host links or for things outside a profile. Email [email protected] instead, with:

• The link to the page, image or content.
• What’s wrong with it.
• Any screenshots or extra links that help.

The Report abuse link in the site footer opens an email to the same address.

Copyright takedowns#

If content on RAGE.WTF uses your copyrighted work without permission, send a takedown notice (DMCA) to [email protected]. It must include:

• A description of the work you own.
• The link to the content on RAGE.WTF.
• Your contact details: email, phone number and postal address.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t allowed by the owner, their agent or the law.
• A statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you’re allowed to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

If your content was removed and you think it was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. The full rules are in the Copyright Policy and summarized in rules and policies.
