Gifting

You can buy most Store products for someone else. They get it straight away and can see who it came from.

What you can gift#

Send a gift#

1. Open the Store and click Gift on the product.
2. For badge tokens or extra aliases, pick the pack size on the card first.
3. Under Who is it for?, type their username or one of their aliases. You can also paste @name or rage.wtf/name.
4. Choose Card or PayPal or Rage Tokens (if the product has a token price). Tokens always come from your balance.
5. Click Continue to payment or Spend and finish paying.

When it’s done you see “Done! name has their gift.” (or, with tokens, that it is on its way to them).

Who can receive a gift#

• Any RAGE.WTF account, found by username or alias. Upper or lower case doesn’t matter.
• Banned accounts can’t receive gifts.
• If you type your own name, it is a normal purchase for yourself.
• They can’t already own it. You see “name already has Premium.” if they do.
• Extra aliases follow the recipient’s limit of 2 bought slots. If they only have room for one, pick the single alias.

What the recipient sees#

• The gift is added to their account immediately.
• They get an email saying who it is from.
• In their Store, under Purchases, the order shows Gift from and your username. The price isn’t shown to them.

In your own purchase history the order shows Gift to and their username, with the price. Your receipt email names the recipient.
